Reflecting on a Decade of Titanic Sales

It is hard to wrap our minds around the fact that we started Titanic Sales a decade ago. Where does the time go? It seems like only yesterday that we were struggling to pull together the foundations of a new business. Now, we look around, and we see a well-oiled machine that has grown into something we are enormously proud of.

From humble beginnings, great things can arise — We have come to understand this through our personal experiences in building Titanic Sales, LLC. We started with a small book of business and a reputation. Ten years later, we continue to grow exponentially, expanding our network, seeking new opportunities to thrive in an economically challenging environment. We built something to last, and we built it the right way. Coming out of one of the most difficult years in recent memory, it is a good time to reflect on how far we have come thanks to hard work and partnerships with good businesses and people.

From our founding, we were always about relationships. Where some of our competitors only chased dollars, we pursued connection. For us, the opportunities were not in making the quick buck, but in finding real solutions for our partners’ challenges. Regardless if it was distribution, logistics, sales, brand representation, packaging, or something else – our partners trusted us to find solutions for them. We grew this business on the back of that reputation and a history of delivering results.

It was not always easy. This is a harsh industry. We have had to endure the storms and overcome the lean times. Inventory shortages, retailer consolidations, economic downturns, and a thousand other trials have arisen, but we have managed to navigate them all. In part because we have always looked at these events as opportunities and not just obstacles. There was always a lesson to be learned in setbacks and a humble confidence to be found in our triumphs.

While we have held on to our core principles, the market has changed, and we have had to change with it. We have grown from using rudimentary technologies into a developer of our own software. The sophistication of our logistics and warehousing capabilities has scaled dramatically. We continue to explore new market opportunities, and now our professional services division is emerging, with our first partnerships having gone live this month. Through all of this, we have never forgotten that it was our relationships and reputation that got us here.

We are proud of what we have built over the past decade, but we are nowhere near done. What we have created is only the beginning, and we look forward to continuing to serve our ever-growing community of partners in the next decade.
